The beautifully balanced gables of St Mary's church at Bolton-on-Swale. There can be little doubt that the most celebrated redident in crumbling within the graveyard is none other than Henry Jenkins, the 'Super Codger' who managed a white-knuckled grasp on life for 169 years. These photographs show aspects of each section of the Coast to Coast Path. Some days the weather was so bad few pictures were taken. On days when the weather permitted, perhaps too many photographs were snapped. Regardless, I hope the pictures add to your enjoyment of my book 'Retirement Blues Goodbye' and that one day you too may follow in Alfred Wainwright's footsteps, as Peter and I did, with life changing consequences.
